Winning on debut in the April over 5 furlongs at two and being the first two year old winner for his sire at that time, showed that Master Carpenter was an early and precocious type for his sire MASTERCRAFTSMAN.

His debut at three fount him third behind KINGMAN and NIGHT OF THUNDER in what’s to be said as one of the toughest Greenhams, followed by an impressive 7 length win in the Heron Stakes Listed at Sandown. Proving at three that this was just the start he was only to improve further with age and distance. He followed that up with his GROUP 3 win at Chantilly, he went on to be placed in Group 2 and 3’s behind namely WESTERN HYMN and CANNOCK CHASE. He continued on to win three more races including the John Smith’s Cup.

There are few stallions whom have won from 5 furlongs- 1m2 furlongs starting from first time out as an early two year old to group winning and performing over a six season campaign , whilst remaining sound and consistant throughout. We are sure that he will give these great attributes to his progeny and expect to see two year old performers and progeny that will continue to improve, whilst providing versatility, soundness and not to mention big hearts. Suitable for both Flat and National Hunt and is certain to provide breeders with a tough racehorse. Standing at just £2000 1st oct SLF , he is more than a affordable option for owner/breeders looking to race their progeny.

“Having won in the April of his two year old career, peaked in his four year old career and stayed sound enough to race for six consecutive seasons, he has the credentials to put many current stallions to shame.”
